AllosaurusMember4297 XPJul-07-2015 6:35 PMPeering through the trees, the Dilophosaurus looks for an easy meal. Eventually, she spots a small group of Microceratus. Stealthily moving through the thick jungle undergrowth, she eventually hides behind a tree about six feet away from the group. She spits her poison, getting a direct hit in one’s right eye.
The rest of the group runs off, chirping in panic and surprise. The hit Microceratus attempts to catch up, but he’s hit again. Eventually, he falls over. The Dilophosaurus approaches her victim and leaps onto its back. After a few bites and slashes, another quick bite to the neck silences the dying creature. Hooting in victory, she begins to eat her new meal.
Just as the Dilophosaurus bends over for another bite, she looks hears something. Looking around, she sees the plants rustling on the other side of the river. A Baryonyx steps out of the forest and roars at the smaller carnivore. The Dilophosaurus opens her large frill and hisses at it. However, the Baryonyx begins to step into the river, towards her. However, the Dilophosaurus, not ready to give up her kill, spits at the Baryonyx. The glob of poison hits the spinosaur in the chest, and it stops moving. The Dilophosaurus hisses, but the Baryonyx hisses back, continuing to make its way across the river.
As the Baryonyx almost reaches the other side, both creatures are distracted by loud noises coming from about a hundred feet upstream. They watch as a Suchomimus chases a small group of Parasaurolophus. However, the creatures outrun the predator, who eventually gives up and tries to find some fish in the river. The Baryonyx feels uncomfortable being that close to a larger predator, and walks downstream.
When the Dilophosaurus finishes her meal, something loud gets her attention. The Suchomimus is running downstream, scared off by a Brachiosaurus pair, who just arrived at the area. The Dilophosaurus, seeing how massive the creatures are, runs off into the jungle.
