I prefer the movie. The book was pretty good though.
“Banana oil.”- George Takei, Gigantis: The Fire Monster

I myself like the book better. It was more violent and Muldoon was more badass, and survived. It did a really damn good job of explaining everything as well.
That said, nothing tops the final Rex roar in the movie.
I'll just move this to the JW forums for you, if you need help, just send me (or anyone on JW really) a PM and we will get to you as soon as possible.
Jack of all trades. Master of none

the books were better IMO.
They did a better job at explaining certain things, and all in all they just made more sense to me. All that fancy technological terminology i will admit, got me a little lost at some points.
Nature doesn't deceive us; it is we who deceive ourselves.

I like both the book and the movie
but if I have to choose, I'd choose the movie
because in the movie, lex and malcolm are not as annoying as they were in the book

The books. The had better scenes, and the charcaters were much better. And there was much more violence. The dinosaurus don't hesiatate to be violent.
IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DU-DUEL!!!

I like both, but I prefer the book a little more then the movie.
Ian Malcolm: No I'm, I'm simply saying that life - uhhh - finds a way.

I love both. The books were good, but I wouldn't change anything they did in the movies. For example, the finale of the first movie was much better than the finale for the book(in my opinion). The books do help to explain it though.

Never read the books, but I like the movie, obviously. :)
I know this is random, but as long as we're on the topic of books. There is a awesome book series called the Wingfeather Saga, it's got humor, adventure, action, monsters, long lost heirs to long lost kingdoms, dark magic, it's clean, and snickbuzzards with bellybuttons. It's a four part series, book one is On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness (a tongue-twister of a title), then North!...Or Be Eatan, Monster in the Hollows, The Warden and the Wolf King ( the last book), and Pembrick's Creaturepedia (a side book that goes along with the series). Book four and the creaturepedia aren't yet out, but on July 22 they will. I've talked about this series with Something Real and she seems to like them. Personally, they're my favorite books and I strongly advise you to read them. Here's a link to the series fan page...http://wingfeathersaga.com/
ENJOY! :D
WARNING:
If you read any of these books, you will smile and not want to close the book. You also might projectile vomit all over bedroom and not even care one bit out of the sheer awesomeness of these books, or be eaten by horned hounds.
If you do vomit everywhere, you can do this...
PUKE ANGELS!
Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
