Chris Pratt
Chris will be portraying a rugged, ex-military character by the name of Owen. Little more is known about Owen at this point, but we do know that he becomes at odds with Bryce Dallas Howard's character throughout the film.
Bryce Dallas Howard
Bryce will be playing the role of a smart, corporate scientist, though the organization she works for is currently unknown. Many fans have speculated that she will represent either the bankrupt InGen or the rival company, BioSyn.
Ty Simpkins
Ty's character is currently unknown, but given his age, we're assuming he's a boy caught in the middle of some unfortunate Dinosaur-induced chaos.
Nick Robinson
Nick's character is also currently unknown at this point.
Jason Schwartzman
Jason's character is currently unknown.
Omar SY
Omar's character is currently unknown.
Irrfan Khan
Irrfan Khan will play the head of the 'Patel Corporation', essentially the new company in charge of the Jurassic World theme park. A succesor to the previous, InGEN.
BD Wong
BD Wong will reprise his role as Dr. Henry Wu.
Judy Greer
Judy will portray the sister of Bryce Dallas Howard's character in Jurassic World.
Katie McGrath
Katie's character is currently unknown.
Lauren Lapkus
Lauren's character is currently unknown.

Well its harder then you think, its more of a directors view rather then the writers, critchton was on set and advised every movie, thats why theres so much controversy over the next jp because critchton passed away a few years back... youve got the directors producers and writers opinions, its very hard to use every part from the books, but most of them do get used.
Also the books a guide line, not a solid script. all the jp movies are "inspired" or "based on" meaning there not the same... pretty close but not the same. both movies follow the books plot, ingen team was thrown into TLW to make it more exciting then just dodgsons team of 3, they follow the same idea, Ingen has a dinosaur park, everything bad happens, ians team goes to site b gets intercepted by another team everything bad happens...
for whats in the movies... and compared to ruined franchises "based on the book"... id say the jurassic park movies and books pair well together... not exact...Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Jeff Goldman's character was not only comedic relief in extremely dire situation, he was also the glue that held the surviving cast, whatever his perhaps lecherous intentions were. Due to his arrogance and charm we expect him to be the type of person to care for nothing but himself. The development of his character in the allotted time was fairly impress. Without him and the quality of his acting, not to mention his anchor to the original Parks, it will be difficult to consider this movie another book to the series rather than a stand alone piece. Having some more of the original characters would be great, as long as the children aren't, well, children.CompsognathusMember0 XPSep-23-2013 5:05 PMI think Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) and Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) should come back in terms of adults. It reminds us of the "chaos theory" talk form Jurassic Park, the team work for saving San Diego from The Lost World, and the Ian Malcolm that was going to be in Jurassic Park III before he fell and hurt his leg. I personally liked how, even though he didn't want him nor his Girlfriend going near another dinosaur,Malcolm allowed them to get chased by a Trex in order to save San Diego

I'd also like to see the return of Joe Mazzello.
New actors I would like to see are either Tom Hardy (Dark Knight Rises) or Michael C. Hall (Dexter) as the main protagonist (new professor), as well as Andrew Scott ("Moriarty", Sherlock) or Michael Emerson (Lost) as the main villain. I'm also positive about the rumours of Dallas-Howard, Oyelowo and Brolin.
Tom Hardy seems impossible because of Splinter Cell though..

There's even a Facebook page campaigning for it (not mine, I just like the idea!)

Timmy could be the protector for the boys, like Grant was for the children in the first book. He'd know exactly what fears the boys would have being chased by dinosaurs. As long as they don't make the story too similar, it would be a nice hommage to the first movie.

Someone even mentioned Ralph Fiennes, How cool would that be to see em both. Anyway, keeping fingers and toes crossed. I've seen all three original movies, they added new characters but always kept one of the original characters from the first film. It added another layer of information and added a new way of seeing the same character. I hope that they consider Sam Neil and Jeff Goldlblum into the new instalment. It wouldn't be apart of the series and therefore be an insult to the trilogy.

It does not list Ty's name as 'Gray' nor does it list Nick's name as 'Zach'. Doesn't list Brian Tee's character as a game warden, nor his name of 'Hamada' either.
